We know it can be a little boring and extensive to read, but legally we must provide you with this information as you have rights and importantly, for the avoidance of doubt, we stipulate what is, or isn't, provided by our services.

We value integrity and honesty and are primarily here for the provision of fun experiences! We always endeavour to do our best and have satisfied customers, but we are human, so please remember that communication, compassion and tolerance go a long way to resolving issues or hiccups!

Extra precautions we’re taking due to Covid-19

We have shut our doors to sit-in painting for the foreseeable future. We understand your disappointment and different approaches and beliefs due to Covid-19, but believe this is best for the safety of everyone and for us to be able to continue to provide some sort of service and stay in line with ever-changing legislation.

Please order your items via our website. If you are unable to do this, or have further queries please get in touch using any of our contact details.

Firstly, please do not worry! (Remember that anxiety and stress create a weak immune system to fight any virus, so let’s all stay happy and positive!)

We are, of course, following legislation, so here is what we have put in place:

  • We will wash our hands well prior to packing your order and wear a face covering.
  • We will pre-arrange a time to meet for collection of items at the shop. We have a table just inside the porch on which we transfer items.
  • We will wear a face covering (visor) when we serve you.
  • We will use an anti-bacterial spray on the table surface in-between customers’ collections and anything else as necessary (eg. door handle, if touched, or card machine, if touched).
  • ‘Borrow-a-boxes’ will be quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours between customers.
  • ‘Borrow-a-boxes’ are numbered and a log of previous users are kept for a minimum of 14 days so that in the event they inform us they have become unwell, we can take the necessary precautions.
  • We will wash our hands between handling different families’ ceramics and will use the same foam packaging and cardboard boxes for the same families throughout.
  • We are very vigilant about reducing the risk of cross-contamination and have designated areas for boxes in/out/quarantining and separate packing station etc.
  • We are not allowing other people to touch the items that are sent to you (i.e. a barrier is at the door – the general public do not have access to our shop at the moment).
  • Pre-arranged collection times means that we stagger customers arrival and we therefore have short and limited contact with the public.
  • We, ourselves, order groceries online and have not been into shops unless entirely necessary, therefore have had very little exposure to any risk. (Primary worker is still shielding part of their family. Primary worker also has an existing lung weakness, so understands your concerns).
  • We have extended the time you have to inform us of any breakages by four days, to enable you to let the parcel ‘sit’ untouched for 72 hours after the courier has delivered it.
  • If we have had any form of contact with you, an item you have collected, or an item we have sent you, then we will inform you if we become unwell, or have been informed that someone we have come into contact with has become unwell.

If you have become unwell within 14 days of having any sort of contact with us, or our products that you have returned to us, you MUST inform us, because we have a legal duty to inform others.
